The Full Time, Fall Semester Practical Nursing program application will be available and accepted January 15th through February 15th each year. The Full Time, Spring Semester Practical Nursing program application will be available and accepted from August 1st through September 1st each year.
Steps to complete BEFORE submitting the Practical Nursing program application:
Current SCTCC students enrolled in Pre-Practical Nursing major
- Apply to the Practical Nursing program during open application period when you have met the prerequisite requirements.
- Submit additional documentation listed on the Practical Nursing program application.
- It is the student’s responsibility to inform SCTCC of mailing address, telephone number, or e-mail address changes.
New or Non-Active Students
Apply to SCTCC as AS/Pre-Practical Nursing major. If you are new to SCTCC you must submit a college application, application fee, high school and college transcripts. If you are a former SCTCC student you must contact Admissions to reactivate your application (320-308-5089). Applicants will be accepted to the college first, not to the Practical Nursing program. Once accepted to the college or once you have reactivated your status, request an evaluation of your transcripts be completed. Complete the following steps:

Read the information provided
Enter the required information
Select ALL of the MnSCU institutions you previously attended
In the NOTES/COMMENTS type “Practical Nursing Application.”
Official Transcripts from Non-MnSCU colleges and universities must be received well before the application period deadline and should be mailed to the SCTCC Records and Registration Office – 1540 Northway Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303
Applicants should attend an Information Session for the Practical Nursing program. The session dates and times are listed here.
