External Scholarships

In addition to scholarships available through the SCTCC Foundation, external organizations often have scholarships available for students.

Check with local businesses, organizations, and the energy co-op in your hometown. These may have scholarships available for local students, regardless of where the student attends school or the student's intended major.

Some employers provide educational benefits for employees and their dependents as well.

Finally, review these websites for other potential scholarship awards.

Each external scholarship has its own deadlines and application process. Be aware of these as you research and apply.

A little extra effort can yield great results to help pay for college.
