The Importance of the ACCUPLACER
The ACCUPLACER is a VERY important test. You must score at the college level  to be admitted to St. Cloud Technical and Community College using the PSEO program.

The test will measure your skills in reading comprehension, arithmetic, and algebra. Practice BEFORE you test. For sample questions and practice links, follow the links below:

You must pass the test in reading comprehension and arithmetic and may retest only once. (There is a $10 charge for retesting.) If you need accommodations for testing due to a disability, please provide documentation of your disability in advance and state your request when scheduling a testing appointment.

If the required scores are not achieved, college readiness courses must be taken to prepare for college level work. The PSEO program does not cover tuition for college readiness courses. Students would need to pay tuition and book costs of those courses.
