The Syllabus contains the policies and procedures of your course. It also has the list of assignments and how much each assignment adds to your total course grade. To find the Syllabus, enter your online course and go to the Content tool.  In the list of topics, find the Module Heading for Course Information and click the link titled Syllabus.

Often the Syllabus contains a schedule of assignments, but this might also be contained in a separate document.  Make sure to locate the course schedule so that you can find the key deadlines for major assignments, quizzes, and exams.
