CTEC offers a variety of refresher courses, career enhancement, one-day workshops and preparation for certification testing for healthcare professionals. Entry-level courses are available to individuals looking for jobs in the healthcare field. SCTCC faculty and certified instructors teach CTEC healthcare courses.

CTEC is also one of the official testing sites for the Minnesota State Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide Examination.

Classes are held in the evenings to accommodate the schedule of working adults. Courses are cost effective and comparable to industry standards.

Students enrolled in CTEC healthcare classes have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience through a clinical practice or shadowing a healthcare professional. Face-to-face classes offer theory while the clinical and shadow experiences offer direct hands-on learning.
