The Sonography program uses a selective process and there is no wait list for this program.  Completing the prerequisite courses does not guarantee acceptance into the program.  The following information will guide you through this process:

Admissions Process

• Review the Sonography information on the website and the Program Admissions Requirements below
• Attend a Sonography Information Meeting
• Apply to SCTCC and declare a HCT/ Sonography Major.  The steps to apply can be found via the Sonography program Academic Advising link.
• Plan which classes to take and in what order, based on your schedule, class availability and prerequisites classes.  Know your program prerequisites and which classes you need to take.  See the Sonography Academic Advising Worksheet on the Sonography Academic Advising link. 
• Registered HCT/ Sonography students meet with their advisor each semester to go over their proposed course schedule for the following semesters and to obtain their registration access code for the following semesters.
