Rita joined the college's Surgical Technology program in Aug. 2008. She has over 29 years of experience, both as a Certified Surgical Technologist (scrubbing all specialties) and as a Certified First Assistant in general surgery and plastics. Prior to teaching, Rita worked at the Saint Cloud Hospital, Saint Cloud Surgical Center, Saint Cloud Medical Group and is still a casual employee as a first assistant with Midsota Plastic surgeons.
Laurie Green-Quayle has been a surgical technology instructor at the St. Cloud Technical College since August 1996. Laurie has experience in scrubbing on all specialties of surgery including open heart and working as a Freelance First Assistant. Prior to teaching, Laurie was employed for fifteen years at the St. Cloud Hospital and four years at the St. Cloud Surgical Center. She remains a casual employee at the St. Cloud Hospital.
