CHILDREN
Children are welcome to visit the library as long as they are attended to by an adult.  The library is not responsible for their safety.

LIBRARY COURTESY
The SCTCC Library provides a quiet space for research and study; as well as materials for classroom assignments and personal interest.   Please follow these common courtesy guidelines:

  • Maintain Quiet – Be aware of noise levels so others in the area may work undisturbed.  Cell phone use is not permitted in the library.
  • No Food or Beverages– Do not bring food or drinks into the library as spills damage library materials, furniture, and computers.
  • Check Out all Materials– Check out all materials you take from the library.  You are responsible for all materials checked out on your library account.   Do not let someone else use your card.
  • Return Materials on Time – If you need to extend your loan period, you can renew by phone or in person, as long as the items are not already overdue.
  • Do Not Reshelve Library Materials – Please bring items you use and are not checking out to the Circulation Desk.
