Library Collection
The SCTCC Library Collection consists of several print and electronic books, electronic databases, periodicals, newspapers, and audiovisual materials.
BOOKS
Using the MnPALS Plus online library catalog, you may search for books or audiovisual materials located in the SCTCC Library and other MnPALS libraries. You may also search for items located at other libraries by using the Other Libraries link on the Library Homepage.
If you find an item that interests you at another library, you may borrow it through a process called Interlibrary Loan. More information about this process can be found under INTERLIBRARY LOAN at Library Information.
SCTCC Books (excluding Reference) may be checked out for a period of 3 weeks (Limit of 5 on a subject). They may be renewed once for an additional 3 weeks, providing another person has not requested the same item.
The loan period for items borrowed from other libraries is decided by the lending library. Renewal requests for books may be submitted before the due date. Authorization for renewal is up to the lending library.
