Print/ShareTechnical College instructor honored

Deborah Roiger, a faculty member at St. Cloud Technical and Community College, has been selected to receive an Excellence in Teaching award from the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities board of trustees.
Roiger teaches anatomy and physiology. She has pioneered an online teaching guide for her classes as well as virtual access to her classroom lectures, allowing students to study and review materials at their convenience.
Her success in the classroom is measured by her students’ success in their career paths, according to Vickie Apel, director of institutional advancement for St. Cloud Technical and Community College.
