As the world becomes increasingly interconnected, organizations of all types and sizes require Information Technology (IT) workers with ever greater technical competence. Students participating in IT Infrastructure classes, through lectures and hands-on activities, prepare to be competitive in progressively more complex computer support and network administration environments. The IT Infrastructure program places increased focus on industry standard instruction and certification. Upon completion of courses based on Cisco Academy and Microsoft Official Academic Curricula, students are encouraged to pursue industry certification to validate their training.
Upon completion of their studies, students will find employment in help desk support, hardware/software installation and configuration, as well as network installation and administration.
The curriculum will continue to be updated to meet industry changes, which affords program alumni continued educational and training opportunities.
