Nursing (A.D.N.)

St. Cloud Technical and Community College’s (SCTCC) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program provides the students with academic, labs and clinical opportunities to acquire the knowledge, skills and core qualities to become a registered nurse.

Students are provided an opportunity to become a registered nurse through progression of nursing assistant to licensed practical nurse to registered nurse.  Students who complete the ADN program will have the opportunity to apply to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program demonstrating SCTCC’s commitment to a well-lit educational path, reflecting the community’s needs and SCTCC’s responsiveness through this mobility program.

Process

This professional education program is a combination of classroom lectures, simulation labs, clinical activities, along with other numerous learning opportunities. The program is demanding and quite rigorous in the scope and depth of study.  In this program, you will be expected to display personal responsibility and understanding of the requirements of the program and profession.  Additional program information is available through the links on this webpage and our program information meetings.

Information Meeting

Anyone interested in the LPN to ADN Mobility Program should sign up for an information meeting and learn more about applying to the program and what types of job opportunities this education can provide you.

This meeting offers those interested in the program a chance to meet faculty and receive all the information you need to be considered for the program.  This is also where the online application process is discussed; this application is in addition to the college application. To find upcoming dates and times, and to sign up for a meeting, view our information meeting calendar here.
