The major objective of the Water Environment Technologies Program is to train students for positions as operators in both water treatment and wastewater treatment facilities.
The program of instruction consists of a balance between science courses and mechanical courses all directed toward the functions of a beginning operator. Instruction will be given in both classroom and lab settings.
An educational background in mathematics, science, and mechanics is helpful, but not required.
