SCTCC is a co-sponsor of the Times Media SPARK project, a year-long exploration of skilled career options in Central Minnesota. Many of these careers are experiencing a shortage of workers and are well paying. And all of them are available to study at SCTCC for you to finish in two years or less.

Get ready to learn about the wide variety of in-demand industries in the area from September 2016 through May 2017. Then get ready to ignite your career by starting at SCTCC!

Open House for High School Students
Thursday, March 23

Learn more about Culinary Arts at SCTCC! Join us March 23 for decorative/food art, cake decorating demonstrations, and culinary demonstrations by current students. Employers will be at hand to talk about careers in the culinary arts, and SCTCC Admissions staff will be available to talk about how to get your career started.

The Culinary Arts program explores all facets of food preparation, planning, and service . . . from kitchen procedures and operations to menu planning, recipe development, nutrition, and food presentation. Experience a wide range of cuisines and cultures that introduce you to techniques, recipes, and ingredients that satisfy today's consumers.
