James Allex, Automotive Service Technician Instructor Jim has been an instructor at SCTCC since 2000 and has worked as a service technician at various dealerships for 20 years.

Jim is a graduate of the Auto Service Technician program at SCTCC. He is ASE Master Certified with an L1 Advanced Engine Performance Specialist certification.

Thomas Hansen, Automotive Service Technician Instructor Thomas Hansen has been an instructor at SCTCC since 2008. Tom is a graduate of the Automotive Service Technician program at SCTCC. He is an ASE Master Certified Automotive Technician and has worked as an import service technician for 15 years as a master diagnostic technician. He is also trained and certified to work on hybrid vehicles. He has owned and operated his own auto repair facility.

Dwayne Hickman, Automotive Service Technician Instructor Dwayne Hickman have been an instructor at SCTCC since 2004. Dwayne has worked as a service technician in three different dealerships for 12 years. He also works during the summer for a private independent repair shop.

Dwayne is a graduate of St. Cloud Technical and Community College, with a diploma in the Automotive Service Technician program. He is ASE Master Certified with L1 and B5 and Light Duty Diesel certifications.
