Faculty are invited to join a Summer Book Club to discuss Culturally Responsive Teaching and The Brain.
Reading and discussing this book will help identify areas that we can improve instructional practices, strengthen student rapport, and obtain equitable outcomes for SCTCC students.
Jen Evens: "From my experience in reading it, this book made me reflect and understand the student experiences and how those experiences influence their learning, how our brains process those experiences and what we can do to help their learning by understanding this."
The Book Club will meet on Wednesdays, June 30-Aug. 11 at 11:30 a.m. This book can be purchased with professional development funds. If you are interested in joining:
