Everyone should use your own best judgment in making decisions about travel in inclement weather. Please use extreme caution outdoors as regular temps are expected to be as cold as -29 degrees with wind chills approaching -60 degrees Wednesday, and as cold as -20 degrees in early Thursday morning with dangerous wind chills, warming to -5 degrees for a high later in the day. Dress in layers, always wear hat and mittens and do not be outdoors for more than 5-10 minutes. Also use precautions if traveling as these extreme cold temperatures can cause vehicles to stall.
If you haven't done so, please sign up for Star Alert so you are aware of campus closures. Even if you are not signed up for Star Alert, all SCTCC students, faculty, and staff will receive an email.
