2020 BrewLäsh Moves to Drive Thru and Online Format

October 5, 2020

The SCTCC Foundation’s annual fundraiser, BrewLäsh, is back for the fourth year, with a different twist this year due to COVID-19 precautions.

Supporters will enjoy BrewLäsh from home with hotdish dinners created and prepared by Culinary students. Orders also include beverages to taste test, artisan bread, and dessert. On Oct. 22, tune in online for festivities to support SCTCC student scholarships and programs.

There are three major components to the 2020 BrewLäsh fundraiser: Hotdish Dinners, an Online Auction and a Livestream.

  1. Tickets for Hotdish Dinners are available to purchase today through Oct. 15. The $50 purchase includes a dinner for four of a hotdish of your choice, a loaf of artisan bread, a four-pack of homemade cookies, a certificate for a beverage, and a commemorative BrewLäsh glass.
  2. Starting Oct. 16, the BrewLäsh Online Auction will be live. Proceeds from the auction directly support SCTCC student scholarships and programs. The auction ends on Oct. 22 at 10 p.m.
  3. Hotdish Dinners will be ready to pick up on Thursday, Oct. 22, 3-7 p.m. at the SCTCC Medium/Heavy Truck Lab “Drive Thru”. Head to SCTCC on Northway Drive and watch for the signs!
  4. Starting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 22, BrewLäsh will be “live” on the SCTCC YouTube channel and the SCTCC Foundation Facebook page. Hear from President Annesa Cheek and SCTCC students; check in with Culinary students and BrewLäsh volunteers live; and get a feel for how your support helps SCTCC students.

The hub for all the BrewLäsh events can be found at sctcc.edu/brewlash: Order your Hotdish Dinner, bid on the Online Auction, and get the Livestream links.

Proceeds from BrewLäsh support SCTCC student scholarships and program needs.

SCTCC is located at 1540 Northway Drive in St. Cloud – on Oct. 22, watch for signs on Northway Drive. See a campus map here.
