Mark Buchanan, Business Instructor Mark Buchanan graduated from WITC-Superior, Wisconsin with a degree in Marketing, UW-Stout with a BS in Marketing Education and Southwest Minnesota State University with a Masters in Education Leadership. Mark has also recently taken graduate level management coursework at St. Cloud State University. Mark has extensive experience in the private sector specifically in the RV industry in areas such as RV sales, inventory management and planning.

Mark has been teaching business at SCTCC since 2007.

Rebecca Shand, Business Instructor Rebecca (Becky) has been a Business instructor for over 25 years with expertise in sales, management, marketing, and customer service. As a Collegiate DECA Advisor, she has coached hundreds of students to achieve personal and professional success. Becky has been recognized as one of MN State Colleges and Universities Outstanding Educators.

Becky holds an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from St. Cloud State University, Herberger Business School. She also has a Masters degree in Education and a Bachelor of Science degree, emphasis in Marketing and Management, both from the University of Minnesota. Becky is also a MnSCU Luoma Leadership graduate.

Her industry experience includes Professional Industry Sales Trainer, Sales Executive for a marketing firm and a newspaper company, Retail Buyer, and Manager. As a successful business entrepreneur and businessperson she uses her experiences to enhance student learning.
