Kerby serves as the Director for the Center for Academic Success. He specializes in stress and anxiety reduction as well as test preparation.  He can also serve as a general coach for all your academic needs. He is also a world renowned cowbell player. We can all use a little more cowbell.

Meghan Perry, Success Skills Coach

Meghan serves as the Writing Center Coordinator in the Center for Academic Success and the Success Skills Coordinator for SCTCC’s Success Skills Program. She has a Master of Arts degree in English and has worked as a journalist, writer, editor, and English instructor. Meghan has worked as a writing tutor/consultant in higher education since 2010, and joined the CAS in December 2017. She can help students with time management, test preparation, and study strategies, specifically academic reading strategies. Her love of podcasts has made her a top pick for any trivia team.

Becky serves as the ESOL Coordinator in the Center for Academic Success.  She has been working with learners of English as a Second Language since 1987, and enjoys helping language learners to improve their English skills.  Becky has a special fondness for grammar – and in particular, the apostrophe (C.A.U.S.E. – Correct Apostrophe Use Satisfies Everyone!).

Shaun serves as a Math Coordinator in the Center for Academic Success. His background is in math, statistics and computers, so he is your numbers guy. Shaun specializes in helping students with study strategies, facing their test anxiety, and getting the most out of their reading. He also excels at creating games and contests along with parody song writing, two skills that make him a hit at carnivals and birthday parties.

Danielle serves as the Science Coordinator in the Center for Academic Success.  Her educational background is in biology and chemistry.  She specializes in time management and test taking strategies. She thinks that science puns and Laffy Taffy jokes are the apex of comedy.
