The SCTCC Student Leadership Club recently took part in the 2022 Days of Caring event hosted by the United Way of Central Minnesota.

The club members helped with fall cleanup at Country Manor, a senior housing, long-term care, and rehabilitation center located in Sartell and St. Joseph.

“This opportunity gives the SLC students a chance to give back to the St. Cloud community along with strengthening their leadership skills,” said Steve Nusbaum, Club Advisor. “It was great to see the connections the students made and their reaction when they realized they made a difference.”

Days of Caring was held Sept. 19-23 this year and is a volunteer opportunity with a variety of projects and needs. United Way partnered with 30 local nonprofits to offer 67 projects.
