Nursing (A.D.N.) - Application


The Nursing, Associate Degree(A.D.N.) program application will be available and accepted December 1st Through February 1st.


Steps to complete BEFORE submitting the Nursing, Associate Degree program application:


Current SCTCC students enrolled in Pre-A.D.N. major

  1. You MUST be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply.
  2. Apply to the A.D.N. program during open application period when you have met the prerequisite requirements.
  3. Submit additional documentation listed on the A.D.N. program application.
  4. It is the student’s responsibility to inform SCTCC of mailing address, telephone number, or e-mail address changes.
 

New or Non-Active Students

  1. You MUST be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to apply.
  2. Apply to SCTCC as AS/Pre-A.D.N. major. If you are new to SCTCC you must submit a college application, application fee, high school and college transcripts. If you are a former SCTCC student you must contact Admissions to reactivate your application (320-308-5089). Applicants will be accepted to the college first, not to the A.D.N. program.   3. Once accepted to the college or once you have reactivated your status, request an evaluation of your transcripts be completed. Complete the following steps:
    • Read the information provided
    • Enter the required information
    • Select ALL of the MnSCU institutions you previously attended
    • In the NOTES/COMMENTS type “A.D.N. Application, application closes February 1st.”
    • Click Submit
    • Official Transcripts from Non-MnSCU colleges and universities must be received well before the application period deadline and should be mailed to the SCTCC Records and Registration Office – 1540 Northway Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56303
       
  4. Applicants should attend an Information Session for the A.D.N. program. The session dates and times are listed here.
     
  5. It is the student’s responsibility to inform SCTCC of mailing address, telephone number, and e-mail address changes.
