Academic Advising - Access Codes

Each semester students must receive their access codes in order to register for courses for the coming semester. This code is unique to you and can only be obtained through your advisor. Please see below for more information on how you can get your access code depending on your major.


New Students (not currently enrolled in classes)

If you are not currently taking classes at SCTCC, please Apply Online or contact Admissions to enroll in classes.

Associate in Arts or Minnesota Transfer Curriculum

Current students completing either the Associate in Arts (AA) degree, Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MNTC) and/or students completing the pre-requisites for the Health or Nursing programs are required to log into their D2L account, click on ‘Members” tab, click on “Required Advising Session – Part I”.

Please note: Log into Part I using Google Chrome OR Mozilla Firefox. Part I is NOT compatible using Internet Explorer.

This new advising format includes two parts. Part I: Students complete individually via D2L. Part II: Students will register to attend an advising session. Come prepared to meet with an advisor to review your plan and receive access code for Fall 2015 semester.

Business & IT or Trades & Industry

You will get your access code from your faculty advisor. If you are not sure who your faculty advisor is, you can find this information in eServices on your schedule or Degree Audit Report (DARS).

Please contact your faculty advisor for further instructions.
